(Del Cuaderno de Notas de Ibrahim S. Lerak)
If I die now, far away
I don't want you to cry.
I don't want you to cry.
Only two tears
one for the time we past
one for the illusion we have.
If I die will be only my body
the second death
for the first, I didn't have time
the third not in years yet to arrive.
If I die now, far away
you will not know and
your heart will suffer
is it silence or abandon?
With time you will learn
the truth of my death
but also that you're not alone
in any moment needing help
as your love maintains me on your side.
I want you to follow life
not to think in the past
nor go back in time
and be the woman you are.
I want you to smile every day
and laugh openly
in all moments of life
when doubts cross your mind.
I'll ask the Lord to let me stay
holding your hand
to make your life nice
waiting the time of embracing you
in the immensity of love
in the eternity of time.
En cada muerte removemos muertes que querríamos olvidar, imaginamos la propia y tememos la de quien un día tan amamos
